Spartz: "Consider Teachers Act" Signed Into Law

The Consider Teachers Act, a bipartisan bill introduced in the Senate by Senators Mike Braun (R-Indiana), and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Arizona), and in the House by Congresswomen Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) and Victoria Spartz (R-Indiana) aimed at fixing an unintended and burdensome provision in the Higher Education Act, was signed into law by President Biden this week.

"I am pleased to see that this legislation, which fixes an inadvertent error and keeps our promise to teachers in rural and underserved communities across America, was signed into law." Said Congresswoman Victoria Spartz. "I want to thank my colleagues and educators in Indiana for their support and hard work in passing this bill."
